How results are ranked.
The directory's sort order is published here in full. There is no undisclosed weighting, and payment never changes rank.
The ladder is derived from reviewed documents and delivery history. It cannot be bought, and no payment moves a company up it.
Measured from when a provider first sees a request to their first quote, over their recent history. Shown on profiles once a provider has enough responses for the number to mean something.
Straight-line distance from the search point to the provider’s home base, within their own service radius.
Only used when the first three leave two providers level.
Where the ladder comes from
Company profile, service area and contact confirmed.
Current general liability, commercial auto and workers’ comp certificates reviewed by PLN and tracked to expiry. A lapse drops the badge automatically.
25+ completed jobs, a sub-10-minute median response, and no compliance lapse in 12 months.
