PLN exists because the vendor list in a phone's notes app kept losing races against wet buildings. The product is the thing we wanted at 2am.
Why we built it
A large water loss is a race against the building. Every hour before the equipment lands is more material coming out, more days of drying, and a bigger number on the claim.
The bottleneck was never the equipment — somebody within a hundred miles almost always has it sitting idle. The bottleneck was finding them, and then trusting them enough to put them on your job with your name on it.
So we built one place to broadcast the need, and one standard for who gets to answer. Providers earn a badge by handing over insurance and license documents that we read and track to expiry. Nothing about the ladder can be bought, and no rung is permanent.
Where we are
PLN is opening nationwide right now. Network figures appear here once there is enough verified activity to report honestly — we publish numbers only when they can carry their own sample size.

We read the documents
A badge that nobody checks is worse than no badge. Every certificate is reviewed by a person and tracked to its expiry date.
Quotes stay private
A provider never sees another provider’s number. Reverse auctions drive quality down; we don’t run one.
No cut of the job
PLN takes no percentage of any awarded job, and verification is never sold. Paid placement is optional and always labeled.
